Macao Science Center
Inaugurated in 2009, Macao Science Center is designed to promote science education in adolescents, support tourism and the development of convention and exhibition in Macao. With a gross floor area of 20,000 square meters, Macao Science Center consists of three buildings: the Exhibition Center, the Planetarium and the Convention Center.
Exhibition Center
The Center offers featured galleries in 4 main areas: children, technology, environment and lifestyle. It features knowledge, science and fun-oriented interactive exhibits that provide visitors a hands-on way to explore science. With temporary exhibitions, the center will bring in different special topic exhibitions from time to time to diversify the exhibition content.
Planetarium
The Planetarium at the Macao Science Center is awarded the highest resolution 3D planetarium in the world by the Guinness World Records. The Planetarium has the world’s first 8,000 X 8,000 pixels, ultra high resolution digital projectors that can present 3D and interactive dome show and sky show. It is equipped with a real-time astronomical database system, Digital Sky, which allows audience to experience the universe through time and space without limitations.
Convention Center
The Convention Center includes a multi-purpose Convention Hall and 4 Meeting Rooms.
